Church of “Our Lady of the Rosary”
The Church of “Our Lady of the Rosary”, erected in 1639 by Jerónimo de Rocamora, first marquess of Rafal. Its walls are home to valuable works of art attributed to Ribera’s school, “La Virgen de la Leche”, “El Purgatorio” and “The Martyrdom of Santa Águeda”, and paintings commissioned at the end of the 17th century by the then Marquesa de Rafal, Antonia Maria de Heredia and Rocamora for said Church. At this time both the temple and the surrounding squares are being remodeled and rehabilitated.
