Dancing and flamenco music will meet on the 25th, 26th and 27th of May in Rafal. The events of the 18th edition of the Sevillanas Fair ‘Villa de Rafal’ will start on Friday, May 25 at 9:00 p.m. The Musical Art Society of Rafal will tour the central streets at the pace of pasodoble accompanied by the Children’s and Youth Court. The parade will give way to the official opening of the fair by municipal officials and the protagonists of the celebrations. The night will continue in the Plaza de España with a great flamenco performance by the Sevillanas Raphael groups and other invited groups.
The day of Saturday, May 26 will start with a great fair atmosphere in the booths located in the central Plaza de España of the municipality and mounted by two local associations. The music of the band El Nazareno will be responsible for animating the morning during its journey through the streets of the municipality to the fairgrounds. During the night all the attendees will be able to enjoy a good dinner and the final of the Champions League will also be offered so that nobody will miss this important and followed sporting event.
The program of events will conclude on Sunday 27 with the Pilgrimage of the Virgen del Rosario. A tour that will end at the fairgrounds with the celebration of the Mass Rociera. Once the liturgy ends, the patron will be returned to the Parish. The party will continue in the booths until 11:30 pm, at which time the 18th edition of the Sevillanas Fair ‘Villa de Rafal’ will conclude.
The councilor of Fiesta Yolanda Leal has stressed the importance of this festive event for the municipality of Rafal, which also attracts more audiences every year. “We invite all the neighbors of the region to participate in the fair and enjoy all the acts we have prepared. We thank the participating associations because collaboration is a very important pillar for the event to go ahead. ” The mayor has concluded that from the City “we hope that the numbers of attendees are very numerous and can close this edition with a very good taste.”
