This Tuesday, December 20, 2016, the Valencian Community Transfusion Center will be installed in the exhibition hall of the Rafal Town Hall, on Calle España, nº 1, from 17:00 to 20:30 h. To facilitate donation of blood to interested Rafal neighbors.
Donating blood is an act that will improve the quality of life or even save the lives of other people. This action does not pose any risk to the donor, who must meet a series of conditions, being at all times under qualified medical supervision and attended during the process by nurses. A few minutes of our time can represent years of life for another person.
The Center of Transfers of the Generalitat Valenciana reminds that the donation should not be linked to situations of tragedy or emergency but should be a daily and habitual act in our lives. Only by donating blood regularly will we always have enough and safe blood in stock.
During the 24 hours before the donation try to take more fluids than usual and do not go fasting.
